Pauline Howley

Pauline was lab technician for University of London then she threw herself into family life whilst doing prop making, was a sculptor’s assistant and did rigs and de-rigs of exhibitions. During this time, she developed her own artwork, including sculptures, short films, drawing, painting and she has exhibited at the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne. Pauline started writing poetry four years ago, she sometimes combines her artwork with poetry, which has been published in the Morning Star newspaper with her poem, ‘Mick Lynch 4PM’ it was included in the Morning Star anthology Who We Are. Pauline facilitates a local poetry group in Horsham called Poetry and Pints and likes to dig about on her allotment, collects curios found on walks like skulls, pebbles and dead insects and she is often seen dashing about on her bike.
