Voices of Resilience, an evening of diaries and poetry from Gaza, is coming to Leeds Playhouse on Thursday, 5 February.
Join us for readings from the diaries and poetry of five brilliant Gazan writers – Batool Abu Akleen, Sondos Sabra, Nahil Mohana, Ala’a Obaid and Deema Najjar – accompanied by the traditional oud music of Ahmed Nehad and video art from the Gazan filmmaker Hossam Abo Shamallah.
We are pleased to announce that Sondos Sabra will be reading from her diaries in person, having recently arrived in the UK to study.
