Singer songwriter Sean Taylor has released a new song, Little Donny Returns, a sharp piece of musical commentary landing on the anniversary of January 6th, at a moment when international law is once again being shredded.
Taylor is a songwriter with a canny ability to transform the everyday and political into something musical. Praised by Mojo as “articulate, compelling… brilliant” and described by Blues Matters as “one of the best songwriters around”, his work moves easily between love songs, heartbreak and social critique. As Classic Rock put it, he can turn almost anything into a song.
An international touring artist and three-time UK Blues Acoustic Artist of the Year nominee (2023–25), Taylor draws on blues, Americana, folk, jazz and spoken word. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, equally at home on guitar, piano and harmonica.
Taylor has said he will continue performing Little Donny Returns “as often as possible until the monster and those empowering him are removed from office”.
