The Baptist

The Baptist

The Baptist said of everything going on in Gaza:
It’ll all come out in the wash…

All the bloodstains of Palestinian innocents
Will come out in the wash?

The whitewash of all those obliterated brown
Arabs, Muslims, ‘infidels’, all damned anyway…?
A wash of the waters of baptism…?
A baptism of molten waters from Hell…?

All the bloodstains will come out in the wash…?
Not so those children hung out to dry
As brown rags, or those people vaporised…

The Baptist shared a post on Facebook,
A photo of explosions over a Middle Eastern
City—Iran no doubt—lighting up the night
With these words written over it:

Little by little, the world is realizing
The Bible is not a fairy tale.
JESUS IS COMING BACK.
PUT AMEN!

Amen…? Amen to mayhem & Armageddon…?
We are bombing our way to the Second Coming…?
