How was this done?
By intention.
And by the absence of intention.
By a shared currency
of corruption.
By collusion.
In the hubris
of imperial schemes
for domination. For
corporate theft – enriching
the wicked at the expense
of the destitute. By fostering
an expedient culture
of rank entitlement;
for egregious criminality,
the waiving of comment,
censure or consequence.
To the bloating of a state
of depravity. To the
sickening of humanity.

By wilful ignorance
In full knowledge of the facts.
In the lies told and repeated.
Through a disgrace
of exploitation
by the powerful
of the dispossessed.
Oppression, trauma
and fear cynically applied,
manipulated, unresisted,
persistently preferred,
unquestioned,
doubled-down on,
decade by decade
by decade…
to the most macabre
and grievous
plot twist – a history
far stranger than the fictions
which followed.

In the loud shouting-down
of History and of Truth
through the devices
and desires of twisters,
swindlers, charlatans
and knaves, adroitly
re-allocating atonement
from the perpetrator
to a more convenient sacrifice.
Duping the Many
for the benefit of the Few.

By hatred. By indifference.
In covetousness and
in greed. By every form
of malice aforethought.
By sleight of Law
and obfuscation. By
conspiracies and individuals –
famous and obscure –
in infamy.
By evil choices
taken in the recesses
of venal hearts
and minds. By
empty lives
seeking whom they
may devour, revenging
dissolution’s
dissatisfaction on
purer souls.

of human habitation.

of every hospital, clinic,
school, university, centre
of civic governance, place
of worship, sport or leisure.
The guides and leaders.

and friends, civil defence,
medics, first responders,
and any other compassions
rushing to the rescue.

In the bombardment of every
structure facilitating well-being and survival.

of displaced families
sheltering in makeshift tents.

of child amputees severed
with no anaesthetic. By
denial of prosthetics.
Through snipers
chalking up expertise
by junior body part,
picking off
the next generation
one by one by one.

in incubators, and in the
wombs of their mothers,
the hearts and loins
of their fathers.

By tanks driven
over the bodies
of the wounded to
finish the job.

By the bulldozing
Into mass graves
of the tortured,
mutilated, blindfold
and zip-tied,
at least some
believed alive.
By famished dogs
devouring precious
human remains,
scattered as carrion –
unrecoverable under fire.

competing methods

the rubble of their homes.

Men, women, children –
days, months, years
without trial. In deaths-
in-detention. In the
potential pickings for
the skin and organ banks.
In the bodily remains
continually withheld from
their beloveds.
Through the violation
of body, mind and soul
to the furthest reaches
of a prodigiously degenerate
imagination, in an orgy
of depraved desecration.
In a lasciviousness of
experimentation. Blood,
puke, piss, shit, bruising,
nakedness, wounds,
limbs torn asunder,
penetration. In organs
fatally ruptured per
anal insertion of metal bar.
In an obscenity of dogs
trained to maul and to rape,
straining at the leash
to slaver promiscuously
over captive human beings,
weakened by beatings
against all resistance.
In incisions reverse-
engineered to the bodies
of surgeons and other
physicians. (For the prevention
of the prevention of death –
to future-proof elimination).
In an unstitching of being,
the gouging of human;
to every crevice a scalpel,
erasure beyond even
humiliation.
In the intense debate
on the telly
affirming the
Righteousness of Rape;
the moral obligation
to systematically
practice it
on the detained.
In the lust for
salacious confession.
By drooling in camera,
on camera, in ecstatic
self-owning. By the
blanket of official denial –
the disconnect blatant,
persisting, immoveable
(for the assists, for impunity,
to protect the complicity).

development of drones,
for the fine-tuning of
quadcopters aping
the piteous cries of a child
in distress. An irresistible
lure for those whose
hearts are well-known
for being flesh and not stone.

By manufacturing mass
starvation. By deprivation
of food, water, health,
hygiene, fuel and shelter,
hands, arms, feet and legs,
of learning and of play.

By targeting the hungry
at multiple feeding sites.
By barring thousands
upon thousands
of trucks, holding them
in interminable lines,
metres from the starving,
the food rotting.

By murdering those
bringers of aid
it is too impolitic
to refuse entry. So they
determine – as designed –
to cease their life-saving
operations. By taking
very many genocidal
suns and moons
to decide it was a mIsTaKe
or an AcCiDeNt

In wholesale destruction
of water pipes,
desalination plants, the
entire waste and sewage
construction. In conspiracies
pressed and insisted
against longstanding bodies
legally required and allocated
to undergird survival.
In the malignant
wasteland of ecocide.
By disease and infection.
Through dysentery.
By the proliferation of
infestation; rats – hungry
and emboldened by the
imposition of collapsed
sanctity – chewing at
living flesh, biting into
babies’ faces by night.

are heavily invested
worldwide.

while governments
and lawmakers break
every law on their own
statute books, as well as
those they’re externally
contracted to, and every
common law known
to the heart, mind and soul
of humankind to render
the perpetrators
every assistance, as they
work like demons
to shut down and even
criminalise their own
people’s moral resistance
to this evil of all evils,
entrenching themselves
deeper and deeper
in the abject horror
of Genocide Denial.

Let the divide be manifest.
Embrace this if you will.
Take it as your own, if it is.
Or renounce it now.
