How are these lambs?

Stop the Genocide Now! Save the Children of Gaza! Demonstration

By Caroline Walling

When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations…when the Lord your God gives them over to you and you defeat them, then you must utterly destroy them. Make no covenant with them and show them no mercy. – Deuteronomy 7:1-2

In these forgotten sands each lamb wears a crown of thorns.
The premature die in their incubators, streets paved with flesh flayed, heads burst, unborn still warm ripped from wombs,
Mother’s heart lying cold in the rubble.
Vacant as the cabinet for anesthetic.
A sharp shooter skull-shot in a four foot seven-year-old.
What bullets don’t kill Hunger will. Disease does the rest.

Sorry

Am I upsetting your lunch?

Someone once said bettertobegforgivenessthanaskpermission.

Maybe that’s why the bullets flew through the Red Cross
even as she cried, even as medics died
even as they took Tik Tok shots of the pillaging, like they’re on the Cote d’azur
Swipe right if you like, like, like The New Riviera
One click away from a new strip; stripped clean picked clean
ethnically cleansed.
Pick out your seat, the best ones are next to the temple of
Don’t Give a Fuck.
Certain cards have hush-hush value
It’s the whole excuse, just wave it at the offence see them sin binned for pointing out the truth.
This is genocide.
It’s more than eye for an eye, beyond tooth for a tooth.

Tell me, when it was written destroy them, and show no mercy
Do you believe children was what He had in mind?

In these sands each lamb wears a crown of thorns, and the silence is deafening.
