By Bernadette Gallagher

Carla Unlockherheart says
(using her soft compromising voice)
that the people of the Garvaghy Road
have nothing to fear from –
35 old men walking quietly through
their nationalist memories and community.

The only problem with –
35 old men walking quietly through
their nationalist memories and community,
is the 400 years of history being dragged
behind them in a big old orange bag –
careless and explosive.

Don’t forget the other 2000 marches held
every year – in case anyone forgets –
Billy won the battle at the Boyne.
Has any other man been worthy of so many marches?
