Judgment Day, Apocalypse, & Rapture
(Not necessarily in that order), according
To euphoric evangelical commanders;
President Trump & prime minister Netanyahu—
Emperor Tiberius & Herod Antipas of our times—
Are razing the Arab world to Inferno—
No matter more massacres of innocents
Since to them there are no innocents among
Muslims, Arabs, brown barbarians,
Infidels—these self-proclaimed ‘Christians’
Have the right to be barbaric as do of course
Their cousin Hawks in Likud & Otzma Yehudit
& their Moral Army, & their Promised Land
Of Napalm Sundays for Palestinians—
They are the Chosen colonial settlers
Who act with impunity supported by
The Old West’s colonial settlers who wiped
Out most of the Native Americans in
Pursuit of white ethno-supremacy, herding
Those who survived into reservations—

Twelve US soldiers—10 Christians, 1 Muslim,
1 Jew—lodge a complaint against chiliastic
Rhetoric of eschatological generals whose
Religious ecstasy at the promise of coming
End Times spilt into the brief to their troops:
That the spiritually warped, cupiditous,
Epstein-stained President of the United States
(Of Greater Israel; or USrael) has been
“Anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran”
To trigger Armageddon & the Second Coming—
They proclaim Operation Epic Fury is
Biblically-sanctioned, ordained by God as
Part of a divine plan (in spite of protestations
From Pope Leo, God’s supposed representative
Here on Earth, head of the preterist Roman
Catholic Church)—but we might ask which god
Of whom they speak…? Baal? Moloch? Seth? Mammon?
Surely more a demiurge? Babylonian abomination?
These pig-eyed evangelists & Futurist eschatologists
(No Preterism permitted by Pete Hegseth,
Defence secretary-cum-pastoral shepherd
For his flock of fulminating rednecks—
Christo-skyquakers’ lightning strikes pre-emptive)
Are completely unaware that Christ already tried
To return throughout the last two years’ staggered
Armageddon in Gaza & its reverberations
Over the West Bank, but was repeatedly buried
Under rubble of interminable bombardments,
& on His most recent attempt was unable
To announce that He had come again
For being rendered deaf & ultimately dumb
By Israeli raiders’ sound bombs in Bethlehem.

The Samson Option is Israel’s alleged strategic doctrine of using massive nuclear retaliation as a “last resort” if its state is threatened with imminent destruction.
Chiliasm is the belief in a 1,000 year earthly reign of Christ and the saints prior to Judgement Day.
In Judaic-Christian eschatology there are differing interpretations of the Book of Revelation: the Preterist position is that the events predicted in Revelation already happened in the Apostolic age (1st century) with the decline and fall of the Roman Empire and/or the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in AD70, which Roman Catholicism mostly tends to adhere to; the Futurist position is that the events of Revelation have yet to happen, which is an interpretation mostly prevalent in evangelical Protestant fundamentalism.
